Power Bidding Tips
There are a lot of things to consider when buying Science Fiction stuff, or anything for that matter, online. There's always the question of who are you dealing with. Is the seller honest? Is that Sci-Fi game, or Sci-Fi book, really as nice as the picture shows it? Or is it a story that I'm being told just so I'll buy. There are ways to know.
The most important thing to remember is that you have to do your homework. You have to know exactly how much the Sci-Fi item is worth, according to it's overall condition, what it's made of, size, etc, depending on what the item is you are looking at. Without this knowledge you'd be guessing at what you're getting.
By buying, and bidding, we can know who we are buying from. The seller usually has a rating that tells you exactly how he treated other buyers and how satisfied they were with the Sci-Fi item they received. He's probably going to treat you the same way, so this is a good yard stick to know exactly whether the person you are purchasing from is an honest seller or not.
Some things you should do, or know, before bidding on Sci-Fi items.
*Know the sellers feedback. Has he treated previous buyers well?
*Know exactly how much the Sci-Fi item is worth, and how much you will pay. These two numbers may not be the same. Hopefully, your number to pay will be much lower than what the item is worth.
*Know exactly what delivery charges will be for the Sci-Fi item and how they will be delivered.
*Bidding is bidding, no matter what you're bidding on, so make sure you know the rules. Look here.
